Power Plastics partnered with Severn Trent and Suez to install a world-first Net Zero cover solution at Severn Trent’s Strongford sewage treatment works in Staffordshire. The project involved integration of Suez’s AirAdvanced® – ActiLayer filters into the Power Plastics fabricated covers. The full structure comprises 150 tonnes of aluminium covering an area the size of 15,500 m2
By incorporating the AirAdvanced® – ActiLayer filters, the new cover solution will harness the power of light to break down pollutants and reduce harmful GHGs, to assist Severn Trent with operating a net zero plan and meet the sector’s commitment to decarbonise and in doing so contribute to a circular economy!
