Power Plastics designed, manufactured and installed potable (drinking) water covers for Affinity Water at their Chertsey Water Treatment Works in London. The retractable cover solution was deployed over the site’s GAC Filter Tanks to protect the potable water from debris and all weather conditions.
The cover solution comprised an aluminium structure with extruded aluminium intermediate walkways and removable fabric cover sheets, as well as an internal viewing platform with access door.
The solution was designed and manufactured by Power Plastics in the North East and shipped to site in London, where a Power Plastics onsite installation team were on hand to deploy the cover solution. The odour control covers were designed and manufactured in line with a variety of EU and UK recognised standards and all items and components used in the assembly of the solution conformed to ISO 9001 and CE Marking requirements.
