Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Policy

1. Introduction

At Power Plastics we recognise our responsibility to contribute positively to society and the environment. This CSR/ESG policy reflects our commitment to ethical business practices, environmental stewardship, social well-being, and robust governance.

2. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to integrate CSR/ESG considerations into our business operations and decision-making processes, ensuring that we operate sustainably and ethically while delivering value to our stakeholders.

3. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, directors, and stakeholders of Power Plastics and encompasses all aspects of our operations within the United Kingdom.

4. Environmental Responsibility

The Environmental policy statement of the Company is to determine, agree & conform to our Customer’s needs & expectations, whilst fulfilling the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2015, & statutory law. Power Plastics Ltd recognises the needs for sustainable development and continually aims to improve the environment effect of its activities. To achieve this we will:

  Establish sound environmental management by:

  • Meeting or improving upon relevant legislation, regulatory, environmental codes of practice and any other requirements.
  • Developing objectives that target environmental improvements and monitor performance by regular review.
  • Considering any environmental issues in the decision-making process.
  • Developing a relationship with suppliers and contractors so that we all recognise our environmental responsibilities.
  • Educating staff so that they carry out their activities in an environmentally responsible manner.

  Provide for the effective use of resources by:

  • Promoting waste minimisation by recycling or finding other uses for by products whenever economically viable.
  • Promoting the efficient use of resources, energy and fuel throughout the company’s operations.
  • Committed to preventing pollution and to complying with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and other environmental requirements.
  • Power Plastics Ltd is committed to continual improvement of the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance.

  • The communities in which we operate.

5. Social Responsibility

10. Approval

This CSR/ESG policy has been approved by the Board of Directors of Power Plastics Ltd and is effective as of the date below and will be reviewed within one year of the date.
