Power Plastics have completed the first phase installations of covers, incorporating Suez’s AirAdvanced®- ActiLayer solution, at Severn Trent’s Strongford water treatment works in Staffordshire. The new covers will harness the power of light to break down pollutants and reduce harmful GHGs, to assist Severn Trent with operating a net zero plan and meet the sector’s commitment to decarbonise and in doing so contribute to a circular economy!
Power Plastics and Suez will now commence the installation of the Phase 2 tanks, for completion later in 2024. The companies are also working together on securing the next exciting installations of Power Plastics cover structures, incorporating the Suez AirAdvanced®- ActiLayer solution.
