Power Plastics is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards: the Made in Yorkshire Awards 2026 in the Export Award category, and the National Family Business of the Year Awards 2026.
For the past 14 years, the Made in Yorkshire Awards, hosted by Insider Media, have celebrated the region’s world-class manufacturers and their reputation for quality and excellence. This year marks an exciting new chapter for the event, with new categories introduced to recognise the full spectrum of businesses driving the region’s economy forward — from traditional engineering pioneers to digital innovators, supply chain disruptors and ambitious newcomers.
Power Plastics has been shortlisted for the Export Award in recognition of its significant growth across Europe and Asia over the past 24 months.

The National Family Business of the Year Awards, hosted by Family Business United, celebrate the very best of the UK family business sector. These prestigious awards recognise family firms of all sizes, sectors and generations, shining a national spotlight on the vital contribution they make to the UK economy and communities.
Power Plastics is in contention for national, sector and regional honours, as well as the Yorkshire People’s Choice Family Business of the Year Award.

The winners of the Made in Yorkshire Awards will be announced at a black-tie dinner on Thursday 5 March at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The National Family Business Awards ceremony will take place at a gala dinner in London on 17 June.
