MAXI CHAMBER

 Power Plastics have been producing PVC Fumigation Chambers for several years now. The Maxi Chamber provides a completely controlled environment using gas-tight zips and floor seals. It is dedesigned for safe efficient  fumigation of C48 Tabbco cases and other crops. The standard size chamber can accomodate 600 C48 cases or120 tons of tobacco. However as the chambers are modular the can be sized to fit your own requirements.

We offer a complete design,manufacture and installation package including Gas Monitoring equipment,Gas extracting systems,fans,electronic valves and electrical control gear.

The Chambers can be any size so that goods can actually be brought in on a fork-lift truck and then the whole Chamber sealed and filled with a fumigant gas.
 
Producing such large Fumigation Chambers means that entire shipping containers can also be fumigated within a completely gas-tight environment.

When using such a large PVC Chamber, the chamber cover has of course to be supported internally using a frame. This provides the added advantage of fixing in racks of shelving at different levels within the Chamber to allow maximum use of the internal space before fumigation takes place. The Chamber can be left within the warehouse permanently and can be used on a continuous basis. Products that were previously uneconomical to fumigate or were difficult and costly to remove to an external chamber, can now be treated on-site in a high-tech, reusable gas-tight Maxi-Chamber in complete safety to operators using CO², Methyl Bromide, Phosphine etc.
 
 Maxi Fumigation Chambers offer a low-cost solution to an age-old problem. No leakage occurs into the warehouse atmosphere and the fumigant is pumped clear through a purpose-built external stack without escaping from the Chamber. To ensure correct and safe gas/air circulation during venting of fumigation gasses, we recommend that our Fail Safe Control System is incorporated in all large Maxi Chamber installations. Power Plastics are able to offer full training on the installation and use of Maxi Fumigation Chambers.
 
 Power Plastics can now produce these PVC Chambers to any size or specification on a bespoke basis worldwide - no order being either too small or too large to handle. Our specialist staff are available to travel world wide to train local operators in the techniques of Chamber Fumigation.
