Power Plastics have over 25 years experience in the supply of sheeting systems to contain gas during fumigation of foodstuffs in warehouses world wide. Covers can also be made for indoor and external storage of post harvest crops.
This photograph shows a large one piece fumigation sheet (PowerPlas® 528) in use in rice warehouses in Asia. PowerPlas® Sheeting has been specially developed to give a high resistance to any leakage of Phosphine gas through the sheeting during treatment.
The material is manufactured from a special formulation that ensures it "drapes well" and hangs closely to the stored product.
A special reinforcement inside the fabric ensures the best possible resistance to tearing of the sheets during handling.
Adjacent sheets can be site jointed using our special gas tight zips.
