Modern methods of surface treatment of metals require far more demanding control of the environment both during the surface preparation and the subsequent treatment phase of the contract.

PowerPlas ® 519 sheeting, site jointed with flexible zip closures, ensures that no dust or grit will escape into the external environment during shot or grit blasting. The use of completely sealed large sheeted structures will enable site operators to apply special surface treatments to ships hulls etc in a local dust free controlled environment that can be monitored and maintained at a predetermined operating temperature during the site application period.

Roofsheets can be secured with Kader systems. Most PowerPlas® materials used for dockside containment is flame retarded to BS5438 and LPS1215.
